MISTER X. A portrait that thrives on an enigmatic and carnivalesque charm, suspended between the ethereal transparency of the face and the solid architecture of the base. The artwork explores the technique of blown glass sculpture combined with solid elements, where the face—made of crystal and delicate pink—is crisscrossed by black lines that decompose and recompose its cubist planes, recalling the geometric and irreverent masks of a lagoon parade. Around it, the hair is a dense tangle of red and orange filaments, embellished with hot-applied relief decorations that create distinctive tactile and visual effects on the surface, like an explosion of confetti. Below, the orange pedestal houses black geometric shapes, giving the composition an almost monumental stability that recalls the architecture of Venice.
