Eredità cromatica - Woman in a green dress

The Eredità Cromatica (Chromatic Legacy) collection transforms the artist’s father’s secret drawings into glass sculptures. A dialogue between generations where sketches inspired by the 20th-century avant-garde come to life in the fire of Murano. A tribute of love that transmutes the silence of paper into the eternal voice of glass.
WOMAN IN A GREEN DRESS. This is the piece that breaks the ice: the moment the drawing left the folder to challenge the fire. The face is divided, much like memories: one side in shadow and one in light, held together by a yellow, almost mocking smile. The green base is a tangle of black marks, just like those sketches made by instinct in a well-used notebook.
