Stefano Dalla Valentina was born in Murano in 1974 and attended his father Adriano's factory since a very young age, and whilst carrying out various duties, he soon learns the technical differences of glass processing. During such time, he attended the State Institute of Art in Venice, obtaining the diplomas of Master of Art and Artistic Maturity.
In 1991 he permanently joined his father's forge as a Designer and focused on the designing of the works whilst assisting him during the manufacturing process.
His great passion for the Sea (Stefano is a diving instructor) combined with the artistic skills acquired over the years, generated a poetic based on the study and reproduction of aquatic nature through the solid “massello” modeling of Murano glass, of which the artist has full mastery.
